Specialised Movers

The actual move itself was OK, the lads who did the moving worked very hard, on a very hot day, I cannot fault them. However, do not purchase the Move Protect enhanced liability insurance as it is a con and just another way to get more money out of the customer. We had a TV unit that was badly damaged; the unit cost around £400. We made a claim for the damage and was offered £75 minus a £50 admin fee (which isn't stated in the terms and conditions) Communication becomes extremely slow when you make a claim, quite a different experience when something goes wrong compared to when they come round to do the initial quote. Very disappointing and I would certainly not recommend Specialised Movers to anyone.

Blown away by how good this company is. They helped when no one else could. We had a really heavy bath to move and they said no problem. Turned up with 6 men a glazer, scaffolding and a lorry with hiab. Took the window out and hoisted it through. All done quickly for an amazing price. Cannot recommend enough.

The great experience started right at the start with the quote. Rob came out to do the quote and was polite and respectful whilst gathered all the details of the job. The quote was more than acceptable and we book in a week or so later. Along the journey of house buying we were delayed a couple of times (took 6 months in total) but that was no problem for Rob, I kept him updated and he just moved us in the calendar each time it was required. Removal day arrived and the two man team, Kev and Kieran, arrived with the van bang on time. They set up the van so their ramp was connected to our front door step and started packing. I have never seen a pair of lads work so hard in my life. They just kept going! Extremely professional at all times. As seemed to be standard with this move, we seemed to have issues even on moving day. The people we were buying from were delayed in moving out, We didn't completed until 2pm but the sellers weren't ready to move out. The estate agents spoke to them and explained the house isn't theirs now and they need to be out (long story, but they were finally out by 4.30 to 5pm). The reason I am telling you this is that during this delay both Kev and Kieren were fully understanding and professional. They didn't once complain to us about the wait or late finish it would mean for them. When we could finally get in to the new house they jumped to work unloading. We said to them to just dump the boxes in any room and we would sort it to save them some time as it was getting on but they insisted on taking them to the rooms we had marked on them. As I say, professional through the whole process. The unloading of the van was complete just after 7pm and the lads were just as professional and polite at the end as they were at the start. They really deserve more than the 5 stars I can give on here. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future and I will be recommending them to anyone I know who is moving.

Very professional and efficient Very large house move over 4 days. Competitive quote and able to accommodate the short notice move. The guys arrived on time or early everyday and worked hard all day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and everything ran like clockwork. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Specialised Movers to everyone and personally wouldn’t use another company again!

Arranged for a very short notice next day removal service from Specialised Movers and had an amazing experience with them. Natalie was very accommodating and got me booked in quickly. This morning Ash and Blake turned up right on time and got my items moved out of my old apartment to my new house quickly and efficiently. They were both very professional and friendly. Should the need arise again, I'll be certain to go with them again, couldn't have hoped for better. Massive thank you to all for your hard work, great professionalism and quick turnaround.
