My husband had his wedding suit made here. He spent over £1k and felt it looked like it didn’t even fit. He was ignored when he said what changes he wanted and was so stressed he ended up just having it as it was because he wasn’t being listened to. It breaks my heart to think he hated the suit he had to wear for what was such a special day.

Excellent service. I bought some cord velvet flares from top shop that were too long so I came here to get them shortened and the lovely gentleman did them for me on the same day! Only cost me £20 and would go back again. -Highly recommended.

Really bad experience. Paid £60 for alterations to a bespoke pair of black tie trousers that ended up fitting badly and looking awful. I should have been told at the outset that alterations would not have resulted in a good result. Unfortunately paid £40 to have initial changes and then was charged another £20 (they took £5 off) to have the second alterations. Both legs ended up looking different with seams diverging and creases pointing in all directions. The backside was like a sack. I was advised not to use this tailor but I decided I wanted to give them a chance and support local business. I should have heeded the recommendation. I am just sharing my experience. I am very disappointed and I feel robbed.

Made the classic mistake of buying daughter's Prom dress online and when it came we realised the light colour of the dress meant we needed a lining. Dawn came to the rescue and managed to save the day by retrospectively adding a lining without changing the style of the dress which was no mean feat due to the silky material.

I took a number of clothes in for adjustment, all were fine except two shirts which needed the sleeves shortening further to the length we initially agreed. The staff/owner insisted I pay extra for this, claiming they had been taken to the length we agreed. This was untrue and when I disputed it the staff member became unpleasant despite me being civil with them, and ultimately put the phone down on me. The owner was present and did not seem concerned about her conduct. Unprofessional, unpleasant with poor customer service, and frankly quite overpriced.
