We chose to visit Crumb Bakery for a breakfast pastry treat, and were not disappointed. Fortunately we arrived early, as there was already a lineup waiting for the 8.30 opening. The choice of pastries was amazing. Everything looked delicious. It would have been nice if there was indoor seating, as the benches outside were wet…and I hope in the future that they expand to allow for this. Our choice of pastries was perfect…I hope to go back soon.

Me and my mum went during our dog walk, we had a hot chocolate each and shared a chocolate cookie. The hot chocolate was lovely and tasty and the cookie was to die for! It was chocolatey and the perfect combination of sweet and salty! We’d never been before despite living in the area, that’s going to change now haha. We will have to return to try the rest of the goodies in there.

1st attempt failed last Saturday due to long line and we decided to go next time. 2nd attempt yesterday Friday 10ish to try for breakfast. We should have asked if the cafe can reheat the pastry as I think it may soften the pastry and enhance the texture. Love the berry cheesecake inside the berry cruffin and the taste of coffee beans. Croissants taste or texture can be better for the prices. The cup sizes are smaller than other local cafes for the price. Good overall but to us it seems to be a bit overpriced and overrated than our expectations.

Visit Crumb every time we are in Sheffield seeing our friends. The best bakery we absolutely love it. My favourite items on this visit were the cinnamon buns (as always) and the cookie and cheese straws! There is always ques due to its popularity but it moves quickly and is so worth the wait. This is a world class bakery. Said it here first.

🥐🍞🥪@crumb.sheffield 🥪🍞🥐 📍Abbeydale Road Crumb bakery has been on my list for a good while due to its great reputation as a serious bakers. 🕐We visited on a Sunday lunch time (late in the day on bakers hours) and they had quite low stock. 🥪We picked up a couple of ham, pesto and emmental sandwiches for lunch. I didn't expect to be super impressed by a simple sandwich but it was actually really lovely. The pesto was home made and made the sandwich moist, there was loads of sweet honey roast ham that was delicious, and the bread was very fresh and so satisfying to eat. 🥐We were also wowed by a blueberry cheesecake cuffin which was stuffed very full of delicious creamy filling but was still fuffy flaky and light. I also picked up my fave- an almond croissant, crispy nutty and heavy with not too sweet almond paste filling. 😍We couldn't fault their delicious food! 10/10 even with restricted choice. Worth noting * there is no indoor seating which took us by surprise , due to the fact that they operate as a full bakery (and pizzaria!) There are benches outside but theres no cover which may leave you dashing back to the car halfway through a sarnie like us if the weather turns ☔ Also get there earlier than us if you want a full choice or have a particular item in mind !
