We reached out to When Butter met Sugar to make our wedding cakes (made by Amy), and we couldn’t be happier! They looked fantastic - we asked for lots of colour and a variety of flower designs, sent over a few inspiration pics and Amy more than delivered. I actually felt bad cutting into them because I didn’t want to ruin the designs! The cakes tasted absolutely amazing too – we went for lemon and blueberry, chocolate, and vanilla and blackberry, and I’d highly recommend all those flavours. We’d definitely recommend going with Amy if you’re looking for someone to make your wedding cake :)
I visited When Butter Meets Sugar for festive afternoon tea last Friday, and it was absolutely lovely. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious, the scones were perfectly baked, warm, fluffy, and full of flavour, and the cakes were truly yummy. Everything homemade and thoughtfully prepared. A wonderful spot for a relaxing, indulgent afternoon tea. Highly recommended!
Just got back from When Butter met Sugar, visited as a party of ladies for afternoon tea, what a lovely place. Amy is wonderful. The food was amazing and all presented beautifully. We had a very relaxing afternoon chatting over tea served in bone China cups with a wide selection of sandwiches and cakes to choose from. Excellent value for money, I will definitely go again. Well done Amy all your hard work has certainly paid off.
Amy made and delivered our wedding cake and it could not have been more perfect. The cake was exactly the same as the Pinterest reference photos we sent her, plus it is absolutely delicious and the service was spot on from the start. I would highly recommend using Amy for any celebration cake.
We went for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday & Mother's Day. As soon as I saw our table, I knew we were in for a treat; it was beautifully laid out. We were able to choose our sandwiches, scones & cakes individually. Everything tasted amazing. It is easy to forget how good food tastes when it is home-made with quality ingredients. Our 5- year old had a pared-back menu of her favourite sandwiches (prawns) & chocolate cake. The adults loved everything, & I especially loved the lemon cake. We can't wait to go back. We were also happy to be looked after by Amy's mum. Thank you. 😘
