Evans Cycles

Fantastic experience today, I went in to get spokes so that I could rebuild my wheel myself thinking that every bike shop is too busy with 2 week waiting lists. The mechanic was a legend, he measured the spokes and then came back with spokes fitted and a trued wheel. Really friendly staff and a great job....not used to this sort of service from the Sheffield bike shops.

MATE! Awesome service and help from Isaac, walked it completely no idea what I wanted, and was greeted by him took me through all the possible and best bikes to get for my hybrid riding endeavours. Went home slept on it and went back the next day, applied for the finance including all the extras and the servicing and the following day picked it up and went for a nice 30k ride. Went from completely oblivious to getting a new bike and taking it home all in 3 days. Amazing bike, amazing team, super kind and would defo recommend anyone to get their next bike here.

We came into Evans today to purchase a new bike for my partner. Robin was absolutely fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. Definitely going the extra mile to make sure that we were able to buy exactly the cycle we needed. Even took the time to help us attach our child’s trailer and gave my partner the confidence that everything was set up ready to take him to school. Just purchased an e-bike and accessories from the Sheffield branch of Evans cycles, using the Cycle scheme. The staff in branch made the process very straightforward right from the off. Beginning with George who was my first contact in store. Despite being a complete novice, he talked me through the options and explained everything with patience and without blinding me with jargon, making everything easy to understand. He guided me through the accessories I would need and everything necessary to get my Cycle scheme application started. After hitting a minor problem with my certificate, a phone call to the store helped me deal with it simply and efficiently. A further phone call with Shane was made easy to secure my bike and organise it being built and made ready for collection today. Finally the visit to the store today saw another member of staff, James complete building my bike and finalise the transaction, including booking in for a 30 day health check (FOC!!!) I couldn't be happier with the service provided from start to finish to get me on my cycling journey. All three members of staff were brilliant and I will definitely use the store in future. Customer service at its finest. Well done Evans cycles.

The guys working here were absolutely brilliant with a) helping choose right bike b) ordering via cycle 2 work c) sorting out manufacturing issues once bikes delivered d) fixing issues after bike crashes and broken parts Absolutely brilliant service 10/10 - were kind, patient, flexible and explained everything and went above and beyond to help in all regards. A very real, kind, supportive human experience, if only all shops like this. Made difficult choices and awkward problems so much easier and helped sort best solutions in all cases, and always great to chat to, I hope they get recognition they deserve and all businesses would be run this way with people like this who are so helpful and nice. This was the case with every encounter, over multiple months, with several staff members, all brilliant. Thanks again.
