VELOROO (Canyon Experience Partner)

I’d been looking for a new gravel bike for quite some time. Although I live nearly two hours away from VELOROO, booking an appointment online was easy, and when I called ahead of my visit the staff member I spoke to was extremely helpful. On the day, Alex had both bikes ready to go on turbo trainers, as I was between sizes, which made it easy to compare before heading outside. Since I’m not local, they also loaned me a Wahoo with a preloaded route to follow. Everything about the experience was smooth and well thought out. The route really showcased the bikes, with a great mix of terrain including hills, faster gravel, and some chunkier sections. It was an excellent opportunity to properly experience the bike before making my final decision. The weather on the day was particularly bad and I was given the option just to stay inside and on the turbo if I wanted. Again Alex was super accommodating, even saying if the weather was too bad I could come straight back without completing the whole route. I want to say a huge thank you to Alex and the rest of the team. I hope to be enjoying my new Canyon very soon! I could not recommend VELOROO more.

I needed a replacement crank arm bolt at short notice, they were really helpful, sorting out what I needed through a spares box. I wish more bike shops behaved like an LBS of old. Thanks to Veloroo! It was really valuable being able to try a bike and ensure the sizing was right. It was easy to book and I had an hour to test ride the bike. I was about to buy a Canyon bike online when I stumbled across the Canyon Experience Partner shop at Veloroo in Sheffield. I had no idea this even existed – Canyon don’t make it clear enough on their website or during the buying journey, and that’s something they should definitely improve. That said, once I found Veloroo, the whole experience changed. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease with the purchase. They answered all my questions and gave me the confidence to go ahead, turning what could have felt like a leap of faith online into a personal and reassuring buying process. If you’re considering a Canyon, I’d strongly recommend going through Veloroo. The support and advice they offer adds real value – I just wish Canyon made customers more aware of this option from the start.

I had a long journey to visit Veloroo in Sheffield for a test ride, but it was really worth it. The staff were great and the shop is ideally located for testing a bike on or off-road, with routes right from the front door. The free, bookable, one hour test ride is an excellent idea, and it made it really easy to be confident in my choice of bike.
