Catherine at Petalis is nothing short of incredible. She is clever, creative, imaginative, super knowledgeable – a true expert who really gets you and gets it. Catherine was our wedding florist and I can truly say that, from the start, she completely understood our brief and went out of her way to bring it to life for our 3-day wedding in Wales this August. She gracefully went with it when I asked if she could collaborate with a local charity to include some of their flowers, had some amazing ideas, and worked tirelessly to set everything up (and then quickly take it down at the end). The amount of work she put in was extraordinary – and it showed. Catherine created two stunning bridal bouquets, 14 (!) unique bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, a top table display and stunning tablescapes for the guest tables, urns for the ceremony aisle, the most breathtaking staircase dressing, and countless other table arrangements and floral touches. Every single piece captured the essence of what we wanted. The colours, textures and style all tied in beautifully with our theme. Despite the summer heat and the fact the celebrations lasted all weekend, the flowers stayed fresh and gorgeous throughout. Guests were blown away – many even took flowers home, and we’ve also pressed and dried some ourselves as keepsakes. On top of her talent, Catherine’s personality is amazing – her energy, warmth, and fun are infectious, and she made the whole process a joy. The flowers truly made such a difference to the wedding, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I would have her back for birthdays, anniversaries, funerals – any and every event in the future! Catherine is just amazing!! She recently did flowers for my two day wedding which were so so beautiful. Catherine completely exceeded my expectations and made all my flower dreams come true. Catherine did all the flowers at our wedding venue as well as our bouquets and button holes etc. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe how amazing she was! Our venue was a large warehouse and I knew I wanted flowers to play a major part of the decor so I did a lot of research to find a florist who would be up for the task of transforming such a large space. Catherine didn’t disappoint! She completely ran with my vision and contributed some excellent ideas. She even agreed to go along with the slightly crazy idea of having macrame hanging baskets above the tables- a whole 47 of them! I had a clear vision of how I wanted the space to look but Catherine managed to exceed my expectations. She’s incredibly talented which shows in the fact that she can create large installation pieces as well as delicate button holes and they are both equally as beautiful.
