Poppy's Florist

Disappointing to have looked for a local florist (still a drive away) to be able to speak to someone face to face, only to get there and discover there’s no one in the shop. Understand that it may not be possible to man a shop at the moment, but it would be kind to at least mention that in online listings or the website where people check for opening hours.

Discussion with regards to flowers and budget, for a funeral floral tribute. Four separate white roses also required. The lady was very helpful, and listened to our needs. On the day of the funeral, I collected the white roses - they were perfect, not a mark, or a blemish. The tribute itself was beautiful, spring flowers that my brother would have loved ❤️ I cried on seeing them, and cannot thank Poppy's enough for their kind consideration. I highly recommend this florist.

The flowers at our wedding were beautiful and exactly what I was after despite my vague requests for colourful but elegant. They arrived at the venue in plenty of time and looked good throughout the day despite being waved around enthusiastically at points. Communication via email was prompt, I did pop into the shop a few times when they weren't about but always got a swift reply electronically.

The flowers for my mums funeral were beautiful. Just how I imagined them and perfect colours. They were delivered with care on 12th October and nothing was too much trouble when I initially visited the shop to make the arrangements. Thank you for everything.

Placed order on Poppy's website, rather than Interflora as was trying to help a local retailer near my aunt's funeral. Order taken, money paid, over 2 hours later Interflora tell me the order is cancelled because they don't have a driver. So I did the normal thing: I politely phoned Poppy's to ask what to do and whether the email from Inreflora was legit and was thinking I could collect the order myself in the absence of a driver. Poppy's advised me that it's cancelled because they don't have flowers for tomorrow. I told Poppy's that the net outcome is: they get a bad review and I have to get flowers elsewhere. Poppy's hung up, further confirming their contempt for their customer. So, in summary: Poppy's is masqurading as independent rather than an Interflora agent on their website; as evidenced by me thinking I'd ordered from Poppy's. Poppy's is unreliable, in that they take orders and money and then cancel. Poppy's can't do next day delivery, upon ordering at 08:40 because they advised they don't have flowers.
