Barkers Flooring and Bedroom Centre

We finally plucked up courage to go looking for a new mattress. Thankfully we went to Barkers and was looked after by Jeremy who provided a helpful but not rushed service. Delivery was exactly when they said it was, with helpful guys who took our old mattress away. Great service and a lovely comfy bed, Thanks

First visit and very impressed. A wide range and Luke was so helpful. Good value, though not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Loved the personal, unrushed service. Very friendly. Still family owed and over 100 years in business, so they must be doing something right! Highly recommended. Note that beds are on Penistone Road but other furniture on Burton Road (where the lady was equally as friendly and helpful!).

It was the first time shopping at Barker's. And I couldn't praise the shop and staff more. So friendly and courteous and and willing to spend the time to sell the products properly. Quality furniture at more than reasonable prices. Clean warm well laid out shop with an abundance of choice and a family run business. Ended up making a number of purchases and I am very satisfied with everything we bought.

Not the cheapest, but the service is good, they install it well, and the furniture is great quality! If you're treating yourself to something a bit more expensive then this is a great place to look. Bought a 2 meter wide wardrobe with rails and lots of shelves and sliding doors delivered and installed for just over £700.

Just ordered a new mattress from here. Great service from Luke who has a great knowledge of the products and helped me to find the mattress that suited me best. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, top class service. A business that knows how to look after the customer.
