A stunning garden centre in the beautiful Loxley countryside. Amazing food, friendly staff, dog friendly cafe also. Lots of beautiful furniture and accessories, so many plants and shrubs that I had to visit twice in the same week. A free discount card is a must!
Excellent plants and fabulous customer service. I feel lucky to have such a fantastic Garden Centre just up the road and I've just bought some more beautiful plants which were an absolutely bargain! It's a shame that people started dumping garden waste at the pot recycling area, to the point where it was withdrawn, as I very much appreciated this extra service. Please keep up the great work x
We visited on a cold 1st November and were immediately quite confused by the numerous sometimes quite confusing signage. We went to the cafe - nice big sign saying on the door that well behaved dogs welcome. Went to sit down and a staff member rushed over and said we needed to move to the “dog friendly area” which was effectively outside. It was freezing - some small heating lamps but they didn’t make a difference. Was such a disappointing experience and not helped by another staff member trying to tell us we “would be happier sat in the cold” so we chose to leave. We had intended to be ordering food for 4 but went elsewhere. If you have a dog and it’s in the winter don’t bother is our advice.
Poor quality food. Very poor quality cofee.Since British garden centre has taken over the cafe management the food quality has plummeted. There used to be wonderful homemade cake and quiche, now there's extremely overpriced frozen cakes sliced so thin they almost crumble when being handled. This used to be a wonderful hub for the local community especially the elderly who are the bulk of the customers in the cafe. Now the regulars are being priced out and served poor quality food because of British garden centre ridiculous corporate rules. They have not taken into consideration the clientele and seems to be putting profit over food quality. What happened to the wonderful staff being able to serve homemade food? There's no good reason for this and eventually it will impact profits as regulars like myself will eventually find somewhere better to go . Yesterday after 3 years of buying their scones I saw they have halved the portions and the same price. Beautiful community cafe being run into the ground.
Lovely garden centre set in the beautiful Loxley valley. Plenty of healthy plants, all signposted and with seats strategically placed throughout. The shop has some very pretty and unusual items including garden furniture, games, gifts, cards and jams & chutneys. The cafe is spacious with plenty of freshly cooked food, from cakes and coffee to full meals. Really enjoyed my visit. Will be returning soon.
