We are absolutely delighted with our re-plated vintage toast rack, I suspect now better than new with a perfect, thick coverage of silver. And from Sheffield, home of the greatest metalworkers and cutlers - the continuation of a proud heritage!

I received a family bon-bon dish from my sister which was a little bit beaten up and definitely lacking its original sheen. I contacted Sheffield Silverware and, based on their politeness and professionalism, I chose to use their services. I'm SO glad that I did. The result is fantastic. Repaired and polished a dozen silver knives and forks where the handle had come loose from the head. Really impressed with the workmanship and the polishing. They came back transformed after many years of sitting in a drawer broken and unused. A great job. Will use again and highly recommend to anyone else. Great comms too - was always kept up to date with the status and stuck to the original estimate provided.

Sent them a highly pitted and dull silver fork which had been degraded by having been in contact with some nasty chemical. I had thought about sending it for scrap but you took it in and 4 weeks later it was returned shining and as new. A great example of Sheffields specialised cutlery and silver craft.

I had a little spoon that was from my husbands family & we used it for serving apple sauce etc. It had unfortunately, over the years deteriorated badly couldn’t bring myself to part with it. Alisdair at Sheffield Silverware took great care to restore it & return it safely to me. It’s beautiful & I’ll get a lot of pleasure from it in the years to come.
