went to this market hoping for fresh produce, but the tomatoes were in terrible shape — they smelled awful and looked rotten. To make it worse, everything was really expensive for the quality being sold. It’s unacceptable to charge high prices for spoiled goods. The place needs to do a much better job checking their produce and maintaining freshness. I won’t be coming back until things improve.

Prices shown are almost never accurate at the till and today the young man at the counter picked his nose and wiped the contents on my shopping. He spoke nary a word of English when confronted and instead walked away to get another member of staff to serve me. Utterly disgusting behaviour.

The majority of the staff are rude, miserable and dismissive... and they have this annoying habit of assuming that when you pay cash you will not be bothered about any 2p or 1ps... they keep these in their till... its in a prime location and hardly any competition - sadly so !!

TW: not open 24hrs!! At 5am we had to ring the doorbell and the guy at the window did eventually come and try and get our mozzarella sticks but wouldn’t let us in the store. He seemed nice but silly how it’s labelled as 247 because it definitely isn’t!

The shop is supposedly 24 hours but they lock the doors at certain times so if you show up at 3am they won’t let you in. Secondly, they will ID you for everything here, regardless of how old you look. I actually don’t have a problem with this as it is law, but they will not accept your ID if it isn’t a drivers licence. Don’t expect citizens ID or passports to be accepted as ID here.
