Visited today, met a lady (staff) called Evie. I was there at 5:54pm -5:55pm and wanted to get water for my meds, lady was so robotic and refused me to get in. Even though Tesco wrote that they close to customers at 6pm. Lady refused to show empathy and refused me inside to get water for my medication. If I had died, what would have happened? I was there before 6pm. Evie needs to be called to order. She doesn't understand what customer service is about. I feel terrible about Tesco services. Do they have a manager at all?
No receipts available and they've also run out of bags. Useless
I love Tesco :) although its an express shop but quite good and great prices. Staff was good.I could not find pans, teacup or plates though. Great sandwich breads 🍞 and offcourse tesco belgian chocolate 🍪 cookies )
The Tesco Express on Main Street provides great service, but the frequent presence of homeless individuals outside creates an uncomfortable environment for customers. The staff inside the store are friendly and efficient, and the store is well-stocked. However, the management needs to address the issue of homeless people outside to ensure a better experience for all customers. I would somewhat recommend store.
I visited the store looking for fresh lemons and vegetables to cook a meal, only to find the shelves virtually empty. I was humiliated by the security guard on the way out who accused me of shop lifting with no evidence or reason, while I understand there are thieves in the area, I feel I was unfairly targeted due to being diagnosed with sciatica which causes me to walk with a limp. I maintain a clean appearance and polite demeanor at all times and visited stores including TK Maxx, M&S and Sainsbury's without issue. I would advise Tesco to improve their security training as profiling based on disability and appearance is unfair and unprofessional. In addition to this the guard's badge was turned backwards meaning his identity was not visible, as a previous SIA holder who did events security, I am certain while not in breach of licensing this makes it difficult for the public to identify and report bad security.
