Excellent and friendly service. Have used Minder alarms for many years and found their customer service second to none. Have gone back to them to have alarms fitted when I have moved house. Would highly recommend. Today I had an issue trying to connect alarm to new WiFi. Called and spoke to team who suggested a call with an engineer. Engineer called back within a couple of hours as promised to offer advice. I am not that technical, so needed to call back. Engineer continued to be really helpful and patient as they explained what I needed to do - issue sorted. All the people I spoke to were helpful and friendly, 10 out of 10.

Following a break in I asked Minder to upgrade our security system. Mark came today and was fantastic. We now have a system which we understand and trust and, most importantly, we can use confidently. The service is excellent and we are really happy with our new system.

My experience with Minder has been disappointing. The engineer that has attended our alarm after a break in, has been arrogant, rude and unhelpful. The same engineer was baffled at how quickly the burglars had managed to locate their equipment in such a short space of time, knowing how difficult it was to locate. Only to then go back on his words and deny having ever said this. Extra charges have been applied to my account, on top of an annual fee that I was already paying. These extra fees were for coming out to look at the alarm, post break in, which weren’t included in the annual fee, apparently. What the annual fee is for, is anyone’s guess. Despite disagreeing with this extra fee, I agreed to visit the Minder office and pay the extra charge. I planned to visit the office with a friend, who could confirm what the engineer had said during his original visit. Sadly, the engineer declined to talk any further and removed the extra charge from my account before slamming down the phone on me. I would not recommend Minder to anyone due to the above experience.

Right from the start, their level of communication was great, and on Friday when we took installation the engineer was spot on and just got on with the work with limited mess and noise. Really pleased with things so far.

They fitted my alarm and within days it was going off on its own. First engineer said the box was faulty, another one sent to replace a totally different part them tried to charge us even though it was under warranty and clearly a fault on the box. I told him to take the new box out as I wasn't paying for it, another engineer came back and replaced a different box. It's like getting through to MI5 and then having a conversation in Chinese Mandarin. Give this company a swerve
