Lovely efficient service. My Pure Evoke-3 radio developed a fault with the volume control and Pure told me it could not be repaired by them, they did suggest contacting a local electronic repair shop and I found these guys. Took the radio in and not long after they called me back to say the fault had been diagnosed and fixed with a new volume controller all for £55. So much better than adding to landfill and shelling out for a new radio! Highly recommended.
This company agreed to try and repair a rare 1990 Philips HiFi radio/cassette player out of a similarly rare 1990 Renault I own, which I shipped to them in March 2023. Initially telling me to expect a two week turnaround, they then held the radio for three months with me repeatedly having to chase for updates. A month in, they'd told me "We are making progress, we have cured two faults" without providing any detail of what they were, but admitted they'd not yet been able to resolve the issue I had actually asked them to repair (the radio display not appearing on the separate LCD screen, also sent). Eventually when they shipped it back to me, telling me they hadn't been able to fix this fault, it arrived poorly packaged resulting in the radio fascia being damaged with bits of broken plastic in the box. When I informed them of this, they offered to try and repair the damage if I sent it back to them. I decided against this, for obvious reasons. Recently (hence the reason for this very late review), I decided to try and reinstall the radio in my car to see if there was any life left in it. It was only at this point I discovered that the LCD screen had been broken internally, and the radio wiring at the rear of the unit was no longer actually connected inside of the radio (which I can only presume had been done for testing purposes and left like that). Effectively, the radio is now completely ruined. The only plus in all of this is that they didn't charge me, presumably as they didn't have the gall to do so. Photos show the unit before I sent it, and how it arrived back (note there was packaging in the box, albeit sitting above the radio rather than properly wrapped around it to provide protection, but it's not shown in the photo).
They did a brilliant job at diagnosing an issue with my candyfloss machine and fixing it. It was done in a day, in time for my next party and the machine now works like new!
I cannot thank Nova electronics enough, I was looking at having to buy a new £2,000 fridge because the Circuit board had a fault, all parts was discontinued for this fridge so I was out of options for spares, I rang these guys and was told to bring the circuit board in to look at, the board was repaired while I waited and I put it back in the fridge an hour later. The repair cost me £50 and now I have a fully working fridge again. I’m very happy 😃 Thanks guys The Barnsley lad.
Fixed a circuit board on our table saw for a very reasonable price.
