Bought a laptop from Powerimp Sept 2025. Not delivered in the specified time frame. Communication poor, cancellation requests ignored. Surprisingly, the item arrived, unsolicited, 3 weeks late in unsuitable packaging. Powerimp refused to accept goods back, instead made threats of legal escalation, claiming I was committing serious consumer fraud and intimidating me by citing various statute law. Powerimp claimed that the chargeback I made with the bank was initiated after I received the laptop, which was untrue. They raised dispute with bank who settled in my favour after viewing correspondence and correct timeline of events. Powerimp harassed me repeatedly to delete the Trustpilot review I had posted, threatening legal action for defamation. Despite this, I have attempted on numerous occasions to return the laptop if a return label was provided, which they refused to do, even though they are obliged to. When I informed them that I had held on to the laptop long enough and notified them that if it was not collected then it would be considered abandoned, Powerimp issued a letter before claim mid December 2025, seeking compensation and claiming that I was guilty of illegal retention of goods, unjust enrichment and defamation!! I could not seek legal advice as the law offices were closed until new year. When I asked for an extension to respond to their letter, Powerimp refused and immediately filed a court summons, which is completely unreasonable. Many of the listings on the website are refurbished but the listings give a false impression of them being new, the condition not being clearly marked, intentionally misrepresenting the goods and misleading the consumer. Considering my interaction with Powerimp, I would be very wary of going anywhere near this dishonest, unpleasant and litigious company, If AI was asked to design a nightmare consumer experience based on being scammed by an unscrupulous online trader, Powerimp would be it.

This is a review about an (acer nitro 5) I've had it abut a week and it has been running great infact its better than my old acer nitro much faster I've had no problems with it. And for the price its as good as my ten year old acer nitro just a lot faster. I did contact the seller and he was very helpful and easy to talk to answered my questions infact it was nice to talk to a person. the quality of the laptop is excellent. verry happy with the laptop. gladly recommend the seller.

They sold me a dud laptop. Battery not working after two months and all calls to them result in dead messages. Reported to trading standards. If anyone wants to see my comms with them feel free. They are scammers!!!! Happy to post everything. I can prove everything in writing. Do not use ruse scammers!!!!!!
