This was a great location for a business trip for two nights. The location is great and a reasonably short walk to the train station. The rooms are great and modern. Mine had a fridge and tea and coffee as you'd expect. No Nespresso machine, but they don't all have those anyway I suppose. The breakfasts are great and the coffee machines there amazing with a takeout facility when/ after you've eaten. The gym is well equipped but small. With me and two others it felt a bit cramped. Good though. Never ate there outside of breakfast but menu and restaurant/bar are modern and welcoming. Definitely stay there again. Loved it
We stayed here last week for two nights and they also hosted our wedding drinks reception & wedding meal in the semi private space in their sky bar - it was wonderful! My new husband and I worked with Angelica in planning our wedding and she was brilliant! Angelica was so welcoming, made us feel completely relaxed about the process, posed afew useful questions to us that we hadn’t thought about and just generally made us feel like we’d found the perfect place to celebrate our special day. Everything went super smooth on the day and we were incredibly well looked after. They dressed the dining table beautifully and were really accommodating and flexible to our needs. To Angelica and all the staff that looked after us on our wedding day - a huge Thankyou to you! x
This hotel is very fresh and modern. The rooms are very stylish and modern with everything you could need. We booked a standard room and it had a large smart TV, wall plugs and USB / USB C slots, lots of different lighting, fridge, couple of bottles of water and an ironing board and iron! The bathroom was very nice and modern also. Very very clean too. Beautiful shower - so refreshing. The breakfast was OK. I always look forward to hotel breakfasts. There was a lot of choice which is great however for me, the sausages weren’t great and the scrambled egg was horrid - this didn’t even taste like egg. Is it instant egg or something? I’d still give the stay 5/5. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely friendly staff also. Thank you!
We picked to go to the rooftop bar for date day lunch...upon arrival we were stood waiting to be seated nobody to greet us when they came over it was the bar guy who seated us. The glassware and cutlery was dirty along with the actual table. We chose the chicken burger, hummus and chicken wings.the chicken burger said a Hendos's glaze when it came it was swimming in the sauce to point was not able to pick up and the food itself was luke warm including the chicken wings. The food itself had good flavour to it it was the presentation that lacked. Given it was lunchtime and pretty quiet there was no background music and could hear the people at the bar. Compliments to the restaurant manager who was understanding with everything.
Although more a business hotel we loved staying a the Radisson Hotel as a family. Especially the Reception team led by Vicenzo was exceptional. Shout out to William, Christiana and Harsh. From the day we arrived their kindness, service and professionalism were exceptional. Very central location, but only drawback is the parking, but there is a promotion code if prepaid. It’s a hotel that gets the big things right, making it an excellent choice for most travellers, but with a few areas that could be refined. We will stay here again. Loved the hotel and the staff. Still young and learning the ropes as recently opened, but enthusiasm and new interior made it a perfect stay in the center of Sheffield when dropping off our daughter for uni. Feedback for the central /booking team. Booking online is vey easy, but still having some difficulty to activate my account so used the call center which really took some time to work through booking. Hope this can be made easier. Luckily team on the ground in the hotel & Vincenzo's team t reception made more than up for it.
