Amazing views across the city, the park is well kept and has; leisure facilities, dog free area, playground ,skatepark and football pitches.
Good mix of woodland walk and playgrounds. It offers an area to play sports like tennis, basketball and football as well as a bowling green and a skate bowl. A beautiful walled garden an adventure play area and lots of green space with wild flower areas.
One of the best parks in the city. A large green space with plenty of trees and a reasonable sized wooded area, a playing field, small skate park and children's playground. The park is built on a hill and can be fairly steep in places but the climb is worth it for the view of tree city. There is a small walled garden and the Bishop's House is a preserved 15th century half timbered house open on weekends and definitely worth the trip.
A lovely little park with tennis courts and childrens play area. This park is home to bishops house a Tudor hunting lodge now a museum with Tudor period rooms. There are also wonderful panoramic views of Sheffield from the top of the hill. It is great for sledging in winter thanks to it's steep hills.
We love this park. So much beauty and wonderful things to do. Playground, tennis courts, skatebowl, lawn bowls in the summer, brook exploring, the woods, walled garden ( Japanese garden, herb & sensory garden, fruit+ vegetable patches, green house with large fish, gorgeous green lawn) obstacle course /exercise circuit top of the park (which the kids love clambering and balancing over), Bishop Courts house, Meersbrook Hall, park playground ...it's AMAZING
