Secretly one of the best cinemas in Sheffield. Fantastic price for a ticket and some very well thought out seasonal programmes. The atmosphere inside always seems more lively than your average multiplex, probably thanks to the before mentioned pros.

Although a part of students' union (located in the Students Union Building), this cinema is also available to general public and offers screenings of new releases just several weeks after their premier which is pretty good especially considering the cheap price (£3/ticket). I believe it is just a regular lecture theatre, but there is not as much difference to a standard cinema, especially considering sound which was pretty decent.

Great little cinema in the students union. Films are put on by this student society around 3 to 6 months after they've left the cinema at discount price - good for (poor) students. Quality of the screen and sound is good.

Has all the hit films only a few months after release, plus niche interest pieces, documentaries and foreign films. I've seen films I would never otherwise have watched, because at £3 there's nothing to lose. Cinema quality screen and sound, very professionally run by student volunteers
