Hillsborough Leisure Centre

Lovely gym! I had a 14 day membership when I visited Hillsborough leisure and the equipment was spot on! I came here because the equipment at my previous gym was interfering with my work out but when I came here it was so nice to have machines that didn't constantly switch off during my workout:) the gym and changing rooms are so clean. I definitely will be setting up a membership shortly.

I have been coming to this leisure centre for some time and it's the first time since the gym got refitted, quite impressed with the new machines. However, I was not so impressed with the cafe. I was served by a young lady with long dark hair and glasses, who served me a coffee. When I asked her to stamp the coffee loyalty card I had been given before by a helpful member of staff at Concord leisure centre she at first said we don't take those, not seen them for a long time! When I showed her that it was an Everyone Active loyalty card she just said "we have never had them here", even though I said I had only been given it fairly recently.

The first time I took my grandson there, a friendly girl with long black hair greeted us at the front desk. So, the second time, I took another grandson with me. Unfortunately, the girl who greeted us before was busy. This time, we were attended to by a British woman with her hair pulled back in a high bun. She told us there were no spots available and we would have to wait for 2 hours. I went inside to check the swimming pool and it wasn't as full as she claimed. When I came back and asked the nice girl from before if she could help, she said she would take a look. However, the British woman heard this and immediately stopped her, saying, "I've already told them there are no spots." The girl was so scared that she didn't dare to help me anymore. Goodness! Who does she think she is? It's just a regular job, but she's treating her front desk customer service position as if it's a tool to make things difficult for customers, as if she has some kind of authority. It's ridiculous.

No security for swimming you can just walk straight though and use the members shower and changing room and no one does anything about it . Lane swimming you get anyone using it and noone dose anything about it. No point to a memberships if anyone can just use the members changing rooms and shower. Don't bother with a membership just walk though and use whatever you want. Was a lot better before Everyone active tuck over at least they was security for swimming. Can spend money on gym and fixing everything else but not the security. Free membership for swimming just walk straight through noone will bother at Hillsborough .

10/10 service for Nikola on the sales department at Hillsborough leisure centre. She was very knowledgeable about what membership was best for me. She got me signed up on the You + membership, definitely worth the price for the perks you get included! she gave me a tour round the venue and help me get logged into the app so I was all ready to go! amazing service Nikola
