Sheffield Plate

I MUST recommend the wings and fried chicken from 'Shoot the Bull" - they were the most delicious wings I've had in a while (we went with the 'hot honey'. The skin was thin and crispy, the chicken was flavourful and juicy. Thank you so much for the experience!

Got soy garlic wings from the Korean/Japanese both and they were awesome. Cooked perfectly with intense flavour, and a good portion size including a big pile of sticky rice. Some of the best wings I've had in a very very long time...

This is a lovely little dinner spot. They offer a wide variety of food vendors and cuisines. Perfect if your group is fancying different meals. The atmosphere is lovely with loads of string lighting and plants. The bar is of reasonable pricing. They allow dogs in and have a deal currently where kids can eat free (can’t fully remember the terms but there was good variety). The only thing I could recommend to improve would be a pizza place but that is totally biased, personal preference. Would love to return sometime.

I'd like to send a heartfelt thank you to Ian the venue manager at the Sheffield Plate and his staff. I visited with my son before a concert at the city hall, the venue is great, the food on offer is fantastic and selection of beers etc superb. A great atmosphere. Unfortunately during the visit I managed to lose my wedding ring, and although the staff that evening looked everywhere, and even some customers it wasn't to be seen. It had rolled off along the floor and lost. I left my name and address with the young lady at the bar who was so helpful, she said if they found it they would let me know. Couple of weeks later, I got a message from Ian to tell me that it had been found (Down the side of a chair) and that they would send it back to me. I cant thank you all enough, and even though I offered to pay the postage they took care of everything. This is how amazing the staff are at the place, you cant fault it. Honest and caring, you cant ask for more than that. Thanks everyone involved you are star's all of you. All the very best, Andy G

Brilliant place because it has loads of seating that is comfortable and stylish, it's casual and relaxed but also a great night out, the eateries somehow keep a very good standard of quality food and hygiene and the working bar serves alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including a whole range of coffees too. It plays music and is a fun place to be. I love it!
