Superb effort by the Canals and Rivers trust event to individuals and families of all ages. Access to canoe and kayak lessons etc. Information available on many aspects of what they do and literature on flora and fauna etc Around the canal basin, you will find specimens of white water rose, dog rose, yellow, floating heart, old man’s beard, beautiful New York aster, along with dogwood, maple, European plum, Blackthorn, Hawthorn and an abundance of silver birch, trees, amongst many others The trees and bushes were alive with the sound of robin, wren and many others Very enjoyable Saturday morning in September
It's long stay or short stay boat parking area next to the bridge.
Abandoned more like and not safe to moor over night !!!!
