Best park in town for me! This park is beautiful in every season. Big enough to have a jog or walk. There is a pond with ducks and goose to entertain children, a band stand where people perform sometimes, tennis court that you can rent, and an interesting museum in there.

Its place is great for picnics, walk around or stopping by the Weston Park Museum which is another great place to visit. This park has nice big green space defo its good for summer but for autumn as well.

Each time I visit Sheffield I aim to visit one of the parks, however on this occasion I managed to visit three! Weston Park was the first and is a lovely park near the Children’s Hospital and by the University. You can get there by tram or bus but the weather was so great that I decided to walk there from the railway station. NB if you have never visited Sheffield you need to be aware that you will mostly be walking uphill, so wear sensible shoes and, if in doubt, use public transport!😹 The park itself is relatively small with lots of grassed areas, a duckpond with a couple of bridges, plenty of benches and a coffee cart. Around the park you will also see a number of war memorials. There’s also an icecream van just beyond the gates. It’s also the home of Weston Park Museum which itself is well worth a visit. The park is very popular with visitors of all ages and a good site for runners.
