Signature Spa & Leisure

I've been a member at the Quays lesuire club for over a year. Then it was refurbished and become Signature Spa & Leisure. Since the gym has been refurbished it's good equipment but not enough of it. Only has the bare minimum equipment which is not good especially if it's full waiting around to get on a piece of equipment. As for the sauna, steam room and showers they are absolutely disgusting black mould all over the showers, plus they always breaking 😑 and also you get gangs on men intimidating women when in swimming pool or sauna or steam room. And since they changed to Signature Spa & Leisure they also changed the parking facilities where you can only park for three hours. On three occasions we went to the gym but couldn't get a car park space this is very frustrating especially when you are paying £42 membership 😑 the management say this has been addressed but the problems still exist, it doesn't help when the hotel guest and gym members all use thr same car park. And finally I personally think the staff have no customers service skills they are very rude. And when you try and cancel your contract they still take you're payment saying its pro rota when you have already gave 30 days notice to quit your membership. If you are thinking of joining Signature Spa & Leisure I definitely think again you will have endless problems. Since joining a new gym for half the price it's been great with no issues.

Was a member here for a fews months but decided to cancel it for multiple reasons, the women’s changing rooms are absolutely disgusting. I once put my bag down in a puddle on the changing room bench by accident, turned out it was urine. Horrible damp smell everywhere. Wanted to use for pool but was quickly put off by the groups of men who stared at women the whole time they were swimming or walking past the pool in their gym gear. Absolutely horrible

Absolutely poor experience here! They advertised parking as a member exclusive benefit but later changed to be inclusive of others including public and completely limited the spaces accessible by members a couple of weeks ago! Since then, I’ve not been able to park and use the gym. They have said to use the £3.50 multi storey car park but this is not why I joined - to pay separately for parking! Then they say they’re the only gym to provide complimentary parking which is untrue. I terminated my membership in light of this change but they still went ahead and took my membership fee. When requesting a refund (as I will not be using the gym for the full month) I was told 30- day notice is required! How shameful! 1. I can’t access the gym and 2. I can’t even get a refund for the most recent payment! Not happy and neither are other members with the parking changes!

As the other reviews have stated, these people will continue to take your money even after you've cancelled and are extremely unhelpful and rude. Thieving aside, this gym is dirty, overcrowded and dangerous for women due to them allowing guests from the hotel to sit around the pool for hours and stare at women as they're swimming. Do not give this gym your money.
