Great little tucked away theatre, with the emphasis on great and little! 😁 Definitely worth a visit if you get chance.

A quaint little theatre in the suburbs of Sheffield that was re- opened in 1957 after many years it was left dormant. It has a lovely new bar serving a variety of soft & alcoholic drinks along with hot drinks too. There is seating downstairs to accommodate 85 people, and further extra seats upstairs on the balcony. There are separate Men's & Ladies toilets as well as disabled toilet facility. There is limited car parking outside, but street parking is also available. A full programme on both Theatre plays and Music events can be found at... https://www.lanterntheatre.org.uk/ There is a menu in the top right corner that takes you to more information here - https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/thelanternsheff

We went along to a production of Witness For The Prosecution last night and we're blown away by the performances. The players gave Marlene, Charles and Tyrone a good run for their money. Well done to all cast, crew, front and back of house involved. Such an intimate setting, we really felt like part of the 'tweleve good men's. Many thanks to all.

Small venue which more than makes up for it's size in the quality of acting talent and excellent productions. Witness for the Prosecution was outstanding, thoroughly enjoyable especially the actors for Romaine and Janet Mackenzie who gave exceptional performances. Bravo!

Our local, local theatre. Saw a musical performance there on Saturday and returning on Friday for a Halloween comedy night. What fancy dress? A great little venue with a touring roster and the home crew.
