Gee Gee's Fish and Chips

Was driving past and hungry thought I would try it out got a delicious scallop butty with chips and curry sauce. Yummy 😋 very tasty good size portion for around 4 quid. Staff very friendly and quick service. Car parking available and benches to sit on. Will definitely go back when passing

Ordered from here quite a few times but won’t be going near this place after we’ve ordered tonight. Ordered via just eat (food was put in a tied bag) to find hair in both of our meals. Rang the restaurant to be told it was probably the delivery driver (baring in mind the bag was tied shut and boxes unopened) I then drove 10 minutes to the restaurant to be spoken to by the manager who had the attitude of a child and to continually say it wasn’t them, his staff had blonde hair (when in actual fact, he had brown hair along with another girl who worked there) and there was nothing he was going to do. Not a cheap do when we spent £30. Absolutely appalled by the customer service. Avoid like the plague. Had the audacity to accuse us of planting our own hairs in the food we’d paid good money for? Not sure what sort of person would do that, baring in mind we used to order from here lots of times before the new management took over.

Not the most polite staff.fish ok but nowt to get excited about. payed 7.90 for a fish butty and I politely asked for a couple of chips on it and got a harsh no unless I pay an extra £0.95p.its the little extra that goes a long way.ps the fryer looked very miserable....cheer up moody chops

I really do fear for the future of our fish and chips shops. Higher prices and smaller fish portions means it's not a meal we intend to get as often as we once did,if at all. The quality of the food was there, just not the quantity or value. Not the proprietors fault of course, they run a business and need to make a living.

1st time went here. Took dad n aunty......whom recommended this place..... 4 a fish dinner. It was absolutely lovely. The fish was so crispy n big fillet 2. Highly recommend going 2 any1. I really enjoyed dinner n dad did 2. Ty. N will call again next time he fancies a chippy lunch.
