We visited in a Friday night, lots of people enjoying themselves. Many real ales to close from. Hubby liked his, i drink lager and asked the lady serving to chose one for me. Don't know what it was, but it was lovely. Live music came on afterwards, a great, old fashioned 'proper' pub.

We visited the Beehive to attend a public lecture. Having not been to this pub before I have to say it's an amazing place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place is stacked with authenticity and just a great feel and look. A real hidden gem. Will be making this a regular part of our outings from here on! Keep on being bloody brilliant!

Proper atmospheric old pub with all its original lighting and an open fireplace. Limited selection of good ales, and friendly staff.
