An absolutely brilliant bar in the heart of Shipley. The value is amazing, the staff are genuinely lovely, and the whole place has a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The music is spot on, the atmosphere is warm and lively, and it already feels like a proper addition to Shipley’s nightlife. Quite easily the best bar in Shipley. Well worth a visit and then some.
The beers here are genuinely very good, but I found the overall atmosphere to be lacking during my visit. I also had a disappointing interaction with a member of the bar staff when I asked for a smile, which was met with a response I felt was unnecessarily abrupt. It left me feeling unwelcome. There are several pubs in the area offering a warmer atmosphere and friendlier service while serving beer of similar quality. If you’re looking for a great pint paired with genuinely welcoming customer service, you may want to try one of those alternatives instead.
Reconnection Shipley is a brilliant addition to the town and has quickly become a favourite. It's clear the owners have a real passion for beer, offering a regularly changing and excellent selection of cask ales and artisan craft beers on their numerous taps. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, successfully blending a fresh, new look with a nod to the building's history. It's a comfortable place to hang out, whether you're grabbing a quick pint or settling in for a longer session. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you find your next favourite drink. A highly recommended, quality spot for any real ale and craft beer enthusiast in Shipley!

Great to see this place back open, we have called in a few times recently, Yesterday evening live music from 7pm was a shame we had to leave just after for a dinner booking, if food had of been up and running we would have stayed! It’s great to have a few decent bars to visit in Shipley now Remedy is open and the new managers of The Pride are doing a great job also!
