First time here today, never came under the previous ownership but the place is clean, modern and inviting. One large breakfast and one omelette and some hot drinks. Food served quickly, freshly cooked and hot! I have a pet hate on breakfasts when the beans are tepid, not here! I do prefer beans in a ramekin that’s my only criticism as I don’t like them swimming over the plate, they were contained here as I’m not splashed over the other items. A steady flow of people coming in despite its not prominent location, well done! Will be back!
First time coming to George’s and I have to say, I’m so impressed. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere is fantastic, a real community feel and the breakfast…the breakfast was up there with one of the best I’ve had! Fresh, hot and tasty. I will return!
Hidden Jem, Where you can go for real food, I found this place by accident, as there are not too many good places to eat in Shipley, well my friends , the place is nice clean and fresh looking, the prices are good and the food is better.( They even know how to make real fried bread, crispy and brown) At the time of writing this is my first visit. I already know it will be a regular eating spot.
Im glad to see this place busy again. The new staff are locals and are very friendly and the food is amazing and decently priced. It feels like I'm walking in to a families kitchen for a good feed and a natter. Thank you for bringing life back to our local cafe.
A lovely cafe clean & bright with friendly staff. Good menu, prices competitive and portion sizes big. First visit couldn't fault anything and will deff be back . They even offer a loyalty card.
