Best Cafe in Shipley. Family run, great food (always well prepared and piping hot), reasonably priced and served with good humour and warmth by the team. Been visiting roughly weekly for a long time and it has a lovely, homely community feel. My only beef is that I can't go back in time to the 70s and see it in its early days, but I don't think much will have changed. Since Fountains in the city centre closed, the Market Choice Cafe is, hands down, my favourite old school no fuss cafe.
Family run traditional style market cafe located in the Shipley underground market with access via steps from Kirkgate/Market Square ( close to bus stops and outdoor market) or on the level from Westgate (ideal for wheelchair access). You can get everything from an omelette or sandwich to a full English or Steak Pie dinner at a good price with good service. The coffee is good from here too and a decent price too.
Fabulous cafe - delicious, wide variety of food, clean, and great staff. Long time very happy customer. The best bacon sandwiches in town (puts Betty's tea room to shame!)
Great great place I love it here ... The food is spot on it's a proper traditional English breakfast I always leave here feeling positive the whole experience you just don't find places like this anymore ...
When I manage to pop in, it is always so friendly. Food is so nice and I have always found it decent priced. The sheepherdpie is banging
