The food is absolutely amazing here. Can't say it's cheap, spent £70 including tip on myself and my daughter. However saying that seeing what we ordered you'll understand. The burgers are second to none and worth every penny. If you're wanting a cheap burger go to McDonald's, if you're wanting to wake up full nearly 12 hours later go here.
We both had the original burgers which were good, but a little salty (probably due to the bacon). The slaw was bland and added nothing to the meal. We shared halloumi fries and funky fries, both nice. I like my food hot and unfortunately I found the burger was only warm and the halloumi fries went like rubber. The house raspberry lemonade was delicious. Overall, it was expensive and we won't rush back.
We decided to try Saltaire after a disappointing experience at Slaithwaite. It was amazing we arrived to a birthday card for my son and the service was fab, friendly and great atmosphere. We weren't told once that we needed to vacate our table by 9 which is what we got continuously at Slaithwaite when we dined there. It was also my 50th when we dined at Slaithwaite and not one acknowledgment. We'll be returning to Saltaire.
Their original burger is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The service and atmosphere is 1st class too. I can't wait to go back
Visited today for the first time with my boyfriend. We booked online as we had heard from friends it was a popular spot (and I can definitely understand why!). I included in the notes of the booking, that we were visiting for my boyfriend's birthday meal. When we got there, the table was ready and had a birthday card on from the Rumpus team which was a lovely surprise. The service was great, staff are attentive and welcoming. The food is delicious! Cooked fresh with local ingredients. We will definitely be visiting again!
