Great meal at Saffron Desi, staff were brilliant, pickle tray for the ages and the tandoori mix starter is unbelievable value for money! Lamb and chicken desi karahis were top notch, as was the Bombay Bicycle IPA. Will probably try a cocktail next time. Thanks for a lovely evening guys, we’ll be back.
Just had our first experience - All the 5 star reviews are true ! (Anne-Marie tells fibs) Amazing food, big portions not overly priced, lovely friendly staff, beautiful decor & good choice drinks - we will definitely return soon & highly recommend to others.
Thank you Saffron Desi for a very enjoyable evening. This is my forth visit since opening and it fails to disappoint. The staff are great, very friendly, accommodating and there to please. The atmosphere is always buzzing and the decor is vibrant and pleasing on the eye. Food is excellent and consistently good. I had the king prawn tikka as a starter, albeit a little more expensive, it was definitely worth it. I have to say was the best prawns I have had in any restaurant. Main course was Chicken and keema karahi which was excellent and a decent portion. £30-40 per person including drinks which is certainly value for money. Would definately recommend bisitung The Saffron Desi if you haven't had the pleasure yet. Looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely atmosphere, all staff very welcoming and attentive. The food was gorgeous, the fish Tikka was amazing!! The garlic naan was gorgeous and crispy. 100% would recommend and will be back! Thank you
What can I say, a lovely experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful The food was beautiful. Every dish was amazing. The service and the atmosphere was welcoming and so friendly. All staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. A really good spot with lots of parking. Not only will this be my future place to go, we highly recommend too.
