Quickly welcomed by a friendly face and looked forward to trying as it was recommended. I had the mix grill and cheese and garlic Naan. The mix grill wasn’t to bad, quite fish heavy and not much chicken. Sadly it was a little dry. The Naan was like a triple cheese pizza, what happened to a traditional nan seasoned with cheese and garlic. This was more like a garlic cheese pizza. Overall ok for the money just needs some tweaks :)
Another amazing night at Shipley Shimla Spice. Fourteen of us had a lovely meal there as my relatives were over from USA. The service was 100% as always. Can’t wait to be back in January for another celebration at Shimla! Thankyou to all the staff for looking after us.
Best Asian cuisine in the town. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The customer service was outstanding—staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. 🔥 5 stars Absolutely fantastic meal at Shimla Spice in Shipley. The balti was amazing and the chicken tikka was cooked perfectly – full of flavour and really well prepared. The starters were lovely, fresh, and set the tone for the rest of the meal. Service was friendly and efficient, and the bill was very reasonable for the quality of food. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area – can’t wait to go back!
Really poor curry the menu is vast it’s not possible to cook so many dishes and have distinct flavours I had the madras with poor chicken and nothing like a madras sauce I’ve ever had the popadoms were not good or crisp despite being kept in a hot cupboard… the mixed starter was ok as was the rice … we had the family garlic nan which was doughy and partially uncooked at the edges and no discernible garlic … Aagrah round the corner is much better a la carte or buffet or better still individually cooked dishes at Mughals on Leeds Road
