The Pepper Mill

Popped in as we was having a random adventure in Saltaire, we got a warm welcome and got seated right away! The staff very kind, and friendly! We got little pre starters of soup 🍲 and it was so delicious 👌🏽5/5! My OX cheek croquettes starters was absolutely beautiful, for main I ordered duck with fries and tendersterm on the side absolutely incredible combo! My partner has fish main and it was, fresh light and beautiful 😍 good pints too! I would definitely come back and I definitely recommend! Sunday roasts look fab so I can't wait to come back ✨️

I came to eat here alone as I am in the area doing a course, and scouting out places to eat. It’s a little more expensive than other restaurants around (not by much). Greeted by 2 lovely members of staff on the Tuesday night steak night. Seated straight away :) (18:30) They gave me complimentary bread and tomato butter and I ordered each course. Started with the crab :p soooo nice and fresh, full of flavour. Main I had the filet steak with Red wine jue and omg was it good. So soft and a great piece of meat. Best steak I have had in a long time. Finished with the crème brûlée and it was a perfect way to finish a meal :) Booked again for Thursday night to try their normal menu, hope it won’t disappoint. Thank you :)))))

What a true gem of a restaurant. From the beautiful decor, attentive and very knowledgeable staff and exquisite quality food, I can't fault the pepper mill in any way. The menu is small but with a selection of imaginative and finely crafted dishes. Second visit and once again the food was superb, what a interesting varied menu cooked with true flair and passion, if your in the area you would be a fool not to try this true Yorkshire gem. The flavours were amazing and are visually spectacular. The spring roll starter was outstanding and my tomahawk pork was cooked to perfection. My wife had the lamb which again was spectacular and cooked nice and pink and just melted in her mouth. Prices are very reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food. All in all a memorable night out. Well done all at the pepper mill. We will be back very soon. One of the best restaurants in the area and with the menu changing every two months, one you can keep going back too time and time again without repetition.

During our first visit to Saltaire, we elected to dine at The Pepper Mill - what a fantastic decision we made! The food was simply outstanding; starter - delicious, main - phenomenal, dessert - sublime. Ralph and Gladys (sorry if misspelled!) were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout. Massive thanks to them both for their excellent service which only furthered our enjoyment of the meal. Would strongly recommend to anyone and everyone. We will certainly be making the journey from Leeds again to enjoy another lovely meal!

Service was exceptional real attention to detail. Very attentive. Super friendly. Food was extremely nice and the even substituted mushrooms for greens for me. I had the swordfish my friend had the beef steak. And we had a chicken starter. Flavours were very well thought out. Cooked beautifully. Cocktailers were also delishous. Would highly recommend
