Kwik Fit - Shipley

Went to Kwikfit Shipley after getting a warning light on my dashboard to see if they could run a diagnostic and possibly clear the warning light or provide more information. Was advised by them that they do not offer this service even though it is stated on the website that they do and I have had this service before at this branch. The member of staff that I spoke to was very unhelpful and was acting as if they did not want to help at all. Went to the Keighley branch where they were more than happy to help and provided an outstanding service, was also advised by the Keighley branch that Shipley do in fact do diagnostics. I will not be returning to this branch in future due to the complete lack of care and customer service provided.

Very disappointing experience at Kwik Fit. The guest Wi-Fi was not working, which was a real problem as I needed it to get work done on my laptop while waiting. I expected basic facilities like Wi-Fi to be available, but it was completely unusable. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time. Not ideal for anyone who needs to work while their car is being dealt with.

I wouldn’t even give one star. Absolutely shocking experience. I had a nail in my tyre and the staff member didn’t even bother to check it properly. He ran his fingernail across the tread, didn’t inspect the nail itself, and spent no more than a minute looking at the tyre. He then told me I needed a brand new tyre because mine were “worn out”, based purely on using his finger. I then went to an independent garage, where they put my car on a ramp, properly inspected the wheel, and used actual equipment to measure the tread depth. They confirmed the tyre was completely repairable and that I still had plenty of tread left. They repaired it on the spot for half the price. Kwik Fit, on the other hand, didn’t even put my car on a ramp or look at the wheel properly. Overall, a shocking and untrustworthy experience.

Super service. They were able to fit me in at very short notice. I found a large nail in my tyre just as I was setting off to a funeral. The guys were able to fit me in for a very short notice appointment. Unfortunately for me it required a new tyre as the puncture wasn't repairable. Which was a bit of a nuisance since the car is only a few months old so the tyre was relatively new. Still, can't fault the service, so we'll done Kwik-fit.

They were absolutely brilliant. Managed to find what the problem was and sort it out that day. They were honest and upfront about pricing and everything. 10/10 would recommend.
