Baildon laundrette and Dry Cleaners

While on a 3 week trip in Europe we needed to do laundry and the Baildon Laundrette and Dry Cleaners was suggested by a local. It was perfect for our needs. Very nice lady who ran the place, Judith, gave us free parking in the lot behind (up the hill) with the car registration number. She also had detergent to buy. Kept an eye on our things when we ran out for a bit. The washers and dryers were clean and worked well.

Before I came here, I went crazy looking for coins because the laundrette at Saltaire only accept coins. To my surprise, this washers and dryers at this laundrette accept contactless payment and I need not have worries about coins. This laundrette should advertise this fact. And it's just next to the Towngate bus stop. No walking required to drag the laundry .

I have been doing washing here for the past 4 Sundays, and I wished they had wifi or even a tv to watch the cellphone reception here is really bad so i give 2 stars other than that very clean and I can Pay with my card that helps alot

Really convenient that you can park very close and you can use a payment card for the larger machines and dryers. I parked in the pay and display car park and paid £1 for the hour, I think you can park in the other car park behind and put your registration in (inside the launderette) and park for free. You need 50p/£1/£2 if you're paying cash. There are magazines to read while you wait too :)

I went to this one because I read about the no coins needed! It’s only small but perfectly adequate with plenty of washers and dryers. The lady was very helpful and showed me how to use the contactless system. I’m a real tech-no phobe! There’s also free parking, but behind the launderette. Don’t forget to sign up! The other car park is payment and limited to 2 hours. Altogether an easy experience.
