Small coin operated launderette, no change machine, so need to bring own change. Thought it was a bit expensive with £6 for a wash and £1 for 6 mins of drying (used to be 8 mins), but did the job.

I have lost £6. in the dryers so far! It may well have been a functioning launderette in its hay day, but it’s not fit for purpose now. The elderly man who is always in a rush to close early; is extremely rude. I don’t think using the services of a launderette should be such a negative experience. They should sell up and let someone competent have a go. It would,no doubt, then; run to its full potential, and have a lot of happy customers-instead of a lot of frustrated ones!

Good experience. Not used a launderette for 30 years! All clean and tidy. Photos on Google out of date, as of December 2023 driers take 50p, £1 or £2 coins, so added photo to page. 50p = 4 mins; £1.00 = 8 mins drying time. Will use again.

Be warned, the machines have a tendency to swallow your pound coins. The man shuts you out before closing time and is very rude. They are running this place into the ground, they don’t care.

I went to the Soap Opera in Windhill as they have bigger machines, washed and dried my double bed topper, really good very clean. Definitely recommend will return again.
