J Bird Roofing

I want to give a massive shout out for Jason Bird, and Adam of J Bird Roofing, Baildon. They took on ours, and three of our neighbour's re roofing jobs, as we live on a terrace row of old houses, having to start with a specialist asbestos removal company, as our old tiles contained a small amount of asbestos, followed by Jason having to get the houses watertight, and all the Lathing level across the 4 houses, which was a massive challenge due to the roof's sagging slightly between each house, then having to raise the height of our Velux window due to sinkage. Where many companies would have refused to do the job, or even walked away, Jason and Adam took on the challenge and found solutions to all the numerous problems they were faced with, resulting in a superb job being done Jason and Adam were very friendly, polite and a joy to have around. They are perfectionist, and use their skills to overcome, and find solutions to any problems they may be faced with. If you need any roofing work done, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jason quoted my neighbour and I for a new roof. When Jason came to quote he was helpful and explained the different options and produced a written quote which was accepted. Jason kept in touch with likely timescales that we appreciated, poor weather did cause a delay but as we were kept informed this makes things easier and understandable. Fast forward a few months, and I am pleased to say we have a new roof !! Throughout the job, Jason kept us updated and even showed us the roof and some of the issues he faced as the job did throw up some complications. (or challenges!) Jason however worked through these and went on to do a great job. The appearance of the roof across both houses looks a lot better than before and other people have said they notice the difference. Jason and his colleague were easy to deal with all the way through the job, answering any queries we had. Thanks Jason.

We have used Jason's services four times over the last few years on both small and larger jobs. On each occasion we have found Jason incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He identifies exactly what work is needed and doesn't try to add to the job when not necessary hence his costs are sensible and reasonable. We would recommend him to anyone needing roofing services in this area.

J Bird Roofing (no relation!) have done several roof repairs at our house including replacement roof tiling, new dry verges and general roof maintenance. Always very pleased with their work. Reliable and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this firm.

We recently discovered that our downpipe had slipped out of the gutter connection, causing rainwater to run down the wall of our house. After reaching out to J Bird Roofing, they were able to quickly squeeze in a visit, and the job was sorted in a matter of minutes! We understand the difficulty of finding time to attend such small jobs, and are very grateful they found the time to fix this for us. Would highly recommend.
