The Triangle

Really interesting place! On one hand, it's an off-licence, but it also has a bar for onsite drinks (and a coffee machine during the day), and a great function room upstairs. Ideal for a beer officianado crowd - a possible Camra event venue? An unusual spot for a birthday party or special event, and really nicely done out. They have music and other events on. Great to pop in and browse the wide range of specialist beers. Even had some gluten free, so husband was well chuffed! I believe they do ciders and I think I saw wine? More to look at next time. There's a fridge of unusual soft drinks (I had a German orange cola!), and non-alcoholic options. There are two loos, top floor (up from the function room) and in the basement, both are accessible by narrow stairs. Only slight note of caution is there is limited accessibility for wheelchair users - I think you can get into the main shop (there is a ramp outside) but there's an internal step up to get to the bar - so it's doable as long as you are going with someone who can pay (and you don't need the loo). I look forward to going back!

Brilliant beer shop. Very helpful, professional and knowledgeable owner. Great spread of beers. I chose just 4 but will return to try more treasures. What else do you want?

Great little place but don’t understand why the dark haired guy is so unfriendly and rude. Unnecessary.

A tremendous selection of beers from around the world. Passionate and friendly staff. A nice and comfortable, albeit small, seating area if you want to drink your beer in the shop. Most beers are bottled, on the shelf at room temperature. Some are refrigerated, some are in cans in the fridge. There's also coffee, wine and soft drinks available.
