A great exhibition space in a beautiful renovated factory more than worth the vist. There was a great exhibition of David Hockney flower series and other important work when we were there. Entry is free of charge.
Beautiful building filled with beautiful spaces filled with Hockneys art, gifts, books and a restaurant... and it's free to park and free admittance! A must if you're in the area. (wheelchairs accessible and passenger lift).
Amazing art place, vast variety of styles. Lots of space for people to walk, stop and look at the paining, vases and other stuff in there. Lots of books, so I guess whoever goes will need to like books and reading 📚 🙂 😀 as much as me in order to be impressed. It can make a great day out with the family or friends, there is Dinner inside as well. Once you have enough of art can go for a walk on the canal right outside the building. Very picturesque place, large field for kidds to play and adults to chill nearby.
Great use of a previous mill. Restaurants, art galleries, shops. Make sure you have a stroll around Saltaire, beautiful village.
It's free to get in and also free parking which is great. There is a lot of art exhibitions, books for sale as well as other independent businesses within the mill such as outdoor clothing, antiques, homeware, souvenirs etc. Not really my kind of art but it was fine on a rainy day. Tried to get a coffee and something to eat but it was half term so the queues were crazy. However Saltaire is a beautiful place to wander around with independent shops and bars to visit so it wasn't a wasted journey. Also some lovely walks along the canal
