Shipton Community Centre

Visited to view the photo display and plaque unveiling to recognise the wartime airfield at shipton. The numbers of personnel involved during WW2 in particular were amazing. It was also interesting to learn that shipton had a functioning railway station back in the day. Good to see and hear such enthusiastic local knowledge.

I visit Shipton Community Centre for the Open Mic Nights. The hall is a fab space & their PA is great too! The open Mic nights are a brilliant safe place for people to play/sing with like-minded musicians of all skill levels! Enjoyed the first 3 evenings & looking forward to the next one at the end of August! 😁

I only did a job there but looks very good. Large activity hall, large kitchen area, there's more upstairs but I didn't go up stairs. Good wheel chair access all with large playing fields at the rear

It’s a very good place to play with friends but would be even better with a bike track and a football pitch with Astro. Because if you miss the goal it goes into a farmers field and can’t get it back.

Great Village amenity. Provides a large hall and kitchen for events. Good space for parking, and a play park at the back for entertaining the kids.
