Mediterranean Restaurant @ Sidings Hotel

We've visited several times and the food and drink has always been outstanding. Great location and great layout inside. Only marked down on service yesterday because my wife and daughter got their drinks at the bar, then the young lad said he'd bring my beer and the menus over, only to put his coat on and disappear! Fortunately, a young lady brought them over a few minutes later. I had my favourite Chargrilled Chicken Kebab, my wife her favourite Fish Pie and my daughter a Flatbread Pizza and a side of hand cut chips. All delicious. We shall return again.

What a dinning experience!! The roast dinner was the BEST roast dinner we have bought in a VERY very long time!! The staff were very warm and friendly. Price point was great! And the whole train dinning was pleasantly pleasing

First time ever visiting this place after years of driving past and going "Will have to visit there one time" Finally did. Bloody loved it. I love the old carriage and train paraphernalia and memorabilia. Gives a great vibe to the whole place. Service was pleasant and chatty, nothing above and beyond but you don't always need that. Just good service. The food was delicious. Halloumi to start, could big slabs to start followed by pork belly and black pudding which again was a big ol' portion and finished with the greek Bougatsa of which again is huge and I didn't manage to finish it. All 3 meals were delicious, will absolutely be back!

My wife and I visited the Harrogate exhibition centre over the weekend. Looking for a place to eat after a long, tiring day, we booked for an evening meal at this restaurant without much thought because it was near to our accommodation, unaware of what surprise was in store for us. WOW! What a surprise it turned out to be. This place is "out in the sticks," so to speak, but boy, oh boy, what a hidden gem this is. A relic from the past railway building located within an ex railway siding area. Upon entering the car park we were both stunned by the lovely welcoming railway themed restauraunt and grounds, which were very well kept, neat and tidy, hinting at the attention to detail that we were yet to experience inside. The bar area, located in the original building, was tastefully presented in a retained railway theme with lots of railway artefacts and memorabilia to feast the eyes upon. Original railway carriages were attached to this building, the west side carriage being the accommodation, the east side carriage converted into the exquisite restaurant. The original character of the railway carriage has thankfully been retained by the owners. Our booth table overlooked the garden area and existing live railway track where trains regularly passed-by. Greek music was playing that created a unique and pleasing ambiance, which enhanced the enjoyment of the evening. Kerping with the greek theme, we both ordered lamb kleftico, which was excellently presented and perfectly cooked, deliciously "falling off the bone." My desert was Bougasta, a traditional greek filo pastry parcrl with a warm custard filling....delicious. my wife opted for the waffle with ice cream and toffee sauce....again, delicious. The meal was enjoyed with a relaxed atmosphere of greek music throughout, lovely. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, pleasant, polite, and attentive, all making for a lovely, relaxed, and enjoyable dining experience, the highlight of our weekend. I have no qualms at all about wholeheartedly recommending this restaurant. We will certainly be revisiting when we are next in this area, next time experiencing the delight of staying in the authentically themed railway carriage hotel. The only critisism (nay, suggestion for the management) is that they provide a more comprehensive choice if non-alcoholic drinks.... wine, beers, ciders, and shorts such as gin fir example. Due to the rural location, there will always be a driver to consider and accommodate. All in all, a wonderfully enjoyable evening was had by us both. Thank you to all the staff for making the effort to provide exemplory service.

This place is brilliant. Very original, very clean, staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic, very fresh and very well priced. My youngest boy new favourite place.
