Came for sunday lunch, 4 adults. We all said its the best sunday lunch we have had in a long time. The beef just melted in your mouth. The yorkshire pudding was cooked to perfection. All staff we welcoming and friendly. A definite favourite for us
Sunday lunch in the sun. I have to say, this is the best Sunday beef lunch I have had in a long time. Beef melted in your mouth. Veg were cooked just to my liking, not hard like a lot of places seem to do! A good amount of gravy for your Yorkshires. It was perfect. I'm going back to try their wonderful looking burgers next.
I would recommend you avoid this place. The staff are miserable. The landlord’s rude. There’s no lock on the gents cubicle door, so when you need to sit down you have to try your best to keep the door closed, so people don’t come in, it’s humiliating. They’re not family or child friendly. There’s not a welcoming atmosphere. Go elsewhere.
Food was poor but the service and friendliness of the staff make me give this a 4 star
Went in for a drink on a wet Saturday (7th June) to be told we could not come in due to having a 4 month old baby. They lost a lot of money from the 6 adults who accompanied the baby. I could understand if the pub was busy but there was no one in it. The bar lady was really apologetic but it was obvious they had cameras up watching folk come in as she started to pour our drinks, the phone rang and she said sorry you cant come in with the baby. Draconian rules. Get into the year 2025.
