Tried this as it was closer to where we were staying. They only do one type of fish. I had no idea what fish it was. In their defence I didn’t ask. It’s very average to be honest. Shame as the people are nice. Small chip portions and very oily and soggy.
Fish are normally very good and a good size but the fish we had today was very thin and overcooked. If reduced fish portions become the norm then I will no longer be a customer.
In my opinion, this is one of the best chippy’s in the country 😋 (And it’s no exaggeration to say that I’ve tried hundreds while touring around in our motorhome, so I’ve had plenty to compare it with!) So grateful this one’s in my hometown, Silsden. Thank you Mark & Jean 😊

A nice little local fish and chippie. The staff are efficient and friendly and the fish is very tasty. Prices are competitive too. It's a busy fish shop which tells its own story, but the wait is never too long even when queueing out of the door.
