Ideal location for visiting Richmond and close to A1M roundabout about a mile away. Very friendly hostess and immaculate room. A very nice quiet location with gardens and plenty of free secluded parking. Felt very safe. Property is up for sale and with a thriving business with multiple self contained rooms in probably old stable block an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a business and beautiful home in a great location

A gem of a place. We stayed here at the end of July and had the best welcome and hospitality from Christine and John. We asked if a slightly earlier breakfast might be possible because of an event we were participating in the following morning and Christine could not have been more helpful! Comfy room, lovely shower, peaceful location and a great breakfast. You will not find many better bed and breakfasts in the Richmond area. Rob & Jo

Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and no effort spared to make us comfortable. Christine and John made us very welcome, a real home from home. Even the dog didn’t want to leave.

Very friendly owner Christine and John. There is a friendly atmosphere . A Motorbike friendly place to stay. Great cooked breakfast which does fill you up. Nice surroundings. Is peaceful and easy to find. Great level of service. Nicely furnished rooms. A must place to stay if your visiting the area. My wife and my self are planning to visit the area next year and will only go if we only stay here. See you next year Christine and John oh and cats.

My partner and I spent a couple of days in the yorkshire dales and we stayed overnight at Skeeby Lodge. We arrived later than expected and from the outset we were treated like royalty. The welcome was not too dissimilar to a long lost relative returning home from a long stay abroad Christine is vivaceous, charming, funny and full of beans! The place itself is spotless, welcoming, homely and very quiet ! In the morning we made our way across the courtyard to the wonderful aroma of good old fashioned home cooking. Christine is a very good cook and a perfect host, with John as funny as he is charming. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and we have plans to visit again next year on our way to scotland . . we wholeheartedly recommend Christine , John and Poppy (the cat) to anyone wanting good value for money
