Great fun and the little man loved it - you can't ask for much more! Hidden Castle is great value for somewhere so big. It has loads of different areas for little people to explore and hidden passages for them to get lost in. You get a long slot so you don't feel rushed at all and even then we felt like we didn't properly explore everywhere. Our boy's two and loved it, but there's plenty to keep much older kids entertained as well. We'll be back again for sure, whether it's for an easy rainy day activity or just a fun family trip - cannot recommend enough!
Such a brilliant addition to Skipton! The time and thought gone in to creating this place is very evident. I visited with my 2 children aged 1 and 5 and both had an equally enjoyable time. Favourite areas were the potion making and the market/ animal area. Lots of high quality play props and dressing up, fantastic for creative play. Another bonus was the beautiful views across the rooftops in Skipton. Warm and welcoming staff and great coffee. We will be back very soon!
Huge immersive play zone with cafe and seating area in the heart of Skipton. The attention to detail is excellent here with loads of different areas and costumes and props. We were here on a quiet day and it took ages to see it all. Look out for the dragons lair and the puppet show ! A great option for a rainy day entertainment or just something different. Great coffee and food selection. Thanks !
This is a wonderful venue for younger children. It has a lot of themed rooms so children can dress up with the costumes which are there with pretend armour. Hellmets swords etc. There are animal barns and horse and carts to ride on. Children can cook in the play kitchen and just wander from room to room whilst adults can enjoy coffee and a chat in the cafe area knowing the children are safe. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was in finding it. It's not well signed on the high street and it's located on the second floor which meant a climb up stairs with young children and a buggy. Didn't know there was a lift at first. Overall though a very good experience which our grandson loved.
Came today and the children had a great time, lots to play with and everything is child friendly. Climbing throught the tower and into the different rooms was very exciting, the horse was a big hit as were the knights costumes. Lots of space to leave shoes and bulky changing bags outside, so that you have more space at your table. Climbing the stairs to get to the Castle caused great excitement and added to the experience. This was advertised as a taster session and I can only see this place getting better, definitely worth a visit.
