What a little gem , tucked away down a sidewalk 30 seconds walk from the canal basin is a proper real ale pub. If you like ale you'll love it in there. I would definitely recommend this place to stop off.
Great selection of ale and cider. Good atmosphere.
A really friendly atmosphere and the manageress/barmaid was knowledgeable about the ales. A great selection. Lovely visitors and a bar which I wouldn't have felt intimidated going in on my own as a female. Well priced. A very enjoyable evening.
Absolutely incredible pub run by awesome folk. We can't thank Steve and Adam enough for such an amazing weekend celebrating my husbands 40th. We drink here most weeks and booked out the back room for a Sunday afternoon session. It was perfect for what we needed. Brilliant 😍️
A well deserved entry in the Good Beer Guide for the past 10 years. A short walk from the 🚂 station - turn left after passing the Chippy by the canal bridge and you’ll see it.
