Called in this morning for a cup of tea and a scone I had apple and cinnamon and my husband rhubarb and ginger, absolutely gorgeous the best we have ever had. Would highly recommend this cafe staff are lovely too.
Swadford Café is a lovely little spot in Skipton, perfect for a coffee break or a sweet treat. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating – great for enjoying a relaxed moment by the town centre. They serve good coffee, and the ice cream parlour is a real highlight – tasty, creamy, and perfect for a treat on a day out. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the place feel homely and inviting. A nice, simple café with fair prices and a genuine local feel. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re visiting Skipton!
Went to Skipton today 18th December 2025 for the first time, and this was the first port of call for something to eat and drink. Milkshake and scones were outstanding. Amazing staff who were so friendly. Lovely quiet and clean establishment with an extensive range of food and drink. Can't wait to visit again.
How hard can it be to get soup and a roll so terribly inedible. Watery soup and the driest buttered roll ( actually margarine, who uses margarine these days). Disgraceful to serve food like this whether behind the barrier of a charity or not. Well being cafe!!!!!?
Can’t believe the other two reviews here. We popped in for a mid morning cuppa and two scones to share. We have a cheese scone and a cheer scone with cream and jam. I eat a lot of scones and these were two of the best I have tasted. Cheesy and clearly cheese topped during the bake. The other full of cherries. The place was full when we visited but Service was quick. Friendly staff and plenty of choice. Well priced at £12. Hopefully you will agree with me when you visit
