I grabbed a takeaway from this joint by pre-ordering over the phone and was so glad to take the opportunity, food was ready when I arrived within 5 minutes of the phone call. Duck dish with sauce and vegetables was next level tasty, piping fresh with a fork provided nothing more I could've asked for!
First time using HK having recently moved into the area. Very impressed with the quality of the food . Despite it being Saturday night food was delivered piping hot within 30 minutes. Very good value as well.
Best Chinese I have eaten, Rgularly order never had bad meal. Latest was at weekend,delicious. Yung chow rice sweet and sours hong kong style king prawns salr pepper chicken special with veg.
Had we known that this takeaway had a very poor 2* hygiene rating, we would never have considered using it. However, we did order here and the food was nothing short of appalling. The ribs were just small chunks of sinew and gristle and had no heat either. The special fried rice was definitely special, but for all the wrong reasons. The meat was dried up and solid, it seems to have been cooked a long time ago as it was dark and inedible. I`m really shocked that this shows as a 4.5 out of 5 on reviews, especially given their food hygiene status and terrible quality. We are now sat hoping that food poison isn`t the second course.
Working in Skipton , we decided to get a takeaway. Picked this one due to reviews. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and served very quick. Will definitely go again. Should have asked for a fork as chow mein is difficult to eat with a teaspoon!!
