It's ok and handy if you visiting the castle obviously, we had drinks and sat outside with the dogs it was a nice day but they are not allowed inside. Looking at the menu and the display cabinet which was ok just but I like better than ok we decide to go into Skipton and try a local cafe.
Visited on Wednesday 02nd October 2024. The Clifford Tea Rooms. 2 teas and 2 shortbreads were £12! Poor menu and rip-off prices. Outdoor seating if the weather is decent.
We had the comforting carrots and lentil soup on this cold summer day. Staff was friendly, and the shop was calm. I asked for vegan butter for my roll, and it was brought out.
Nice tea and teacake. Served quickly and efficiently. Clean & tidy. Accessible only after you have purchased a ticket to the castle.
